The CTF competition will take place from October 10 at 09:00 to October 11 at 21:00 (Latvia time). Participants will have the opportunity to tackle challenges across various cybersecurity categories and compete for the highest score.

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) is permitted as a supporting tool during the challenge-solving process. For example, AI may be used to explain technologies and concepts, help understand errors, analyze code snippets, or suggest possible approaches to a challenge.

However, AI must not be used to solve challenges on behalf of participants. Participants are expected to make a meaningful contribution to developing the final solution and finding and submitting the flag. They must also be able to independently explain and justify their solution.

If the organizers have reasonable grounds to suspect that a team has used AI to solve a challenge on their behalf or has otherwise violated these rules, the organizers may require the team to explain and demonstrate how they arrived at the solution in question.

If the organizers determine that the rules have been violated, or if the team is unable to reasonably demonstrate how they developed their solution, the organizers reserve the right to disqualify the team from the competition. The organizers' decisions regarding compliance with these rules are final.

The winners will be announced in person during the closing session of the "CyberChess 2026" conference.
